Empowering with Skills Development
Unlocking PotentialÂ
Life Skills Training
Our life skills training provides women with the confidence to restore and heal their life. It equips them with skills in parenting, understanding their rights and their children’s rights, and other practical skills to navigate daily challenges and secure employment so they can create a stable future for themselves and their children.
Job Readiness and Employment Support
We empower mothers with skills to secure and maintain employment so we can establish their independence and financial stability. We offer courses such as Computer Literacy, Budgeting, and Sewing. We also provide Employment Support by guiding our mothers on how to apply for potential roles, writing compelling CVs and interviewing skills.
Financial Literacy and Independence
Financial literacy is essential for building and maintaining our mothers’ independence. We provide hands-on training in how to establish and stick to a budget, managing debt and understanding credit, smart spending and financial best-practise. These are skills that they share with their children as their children grow and become independent, so we can break the cycle of abuse. The impact is far-reaching.
Parenting and Family Strengthening
We help mothers, who may be coming from a space of trauma, to rebuild their strong and nurturing bonds with their children. Through parenting workshops, counseling, and emotional support, women gain the confidence and skills to create a safe, loving, and stable home for their children. Our program empowers mothers to break negative cycles, foster healthy family dynamics, and build brighter futures for both themselves and their children.
Trauma Counseling and Emotional Well-being
We provide trauma counseling and emotional well-being support to women and children escaping domestic violence and homelessness. Our programs include individual and group counseling, helping survivors process trauma and rebuild self-esteem. We also offer mental health support focusing on emotional resilience, empowerment and personal growth. Through a holistic approach, we ensure that women and children receive the psychological care needed to heal and regain independence.
Creative and Expressive Therapy
We provide a creative outlet for emotional expression and personal growth so that mothers can process their trauma, reconnect to their emotions, build confidence and grow self-awareness. We use immersive activities like painting, poetry, storytelling, and movement. Our Creative and Expressive therapy empowers individuals to navigate life’s challenges in a healthy and expressive way.
Entrepreneurial and Small Business Training
Entrepreneurial and Small Business skills builds independence and self-confidence, creating pathways for women to thrive, support their families, and break the cycle of abuse for generations to come. Participants gain practical knowledge in business development, financial literacy, and emotional resilience to help them grow both financially and personally.
